ABOUT NICOLAS BLONDEAU

Nicolas Blondeau is senior researcher at the CNRS, Valbonne, France. He completed his PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Nice, France, in 2001, and postdoctoral training in Mike A. Moskowitz\'s laboratory at MGH/Harvard in 2004. He has been a member of the ISCBFM since 2002. He is a member of the Society\'s Executive Committee and has served on several of its committees, including Young Investigators (chair), Finance, and Education (chair), and as the ISCBFM secretary. He has also served on several research advisory panels, including those of the E.U. Commission, French ANR, NSC Poland, MIUR Italy, and TIBITAK Turkey, and on editorial boards including Stroke. His research interests include the development and application of nutraceutical preconditioning, nutritional-derived therapeutics and novel strategies for neuroprotection in stroke.
