About Nicolai Ceban
I graduated with distinction from the KU MBA Program in 2019 and was named the top finance student of the class. I was the best student in KU\'s notorious Portfolio Management course where I conducted research and built sensitive financial models to recommend a buy/sell investment strategy. My final pitch-presentation targeted a company that gained 60% in market cap one month later while being a low risk investment with a significant margin of safety. During the time I was completing my bachelors degree in Economics, I was also a D1 Student-Athlete and represented KU in seven D1 National Championships which lead me to become a six-time All-American, a Big XII Conference Champion and was named the 2018 Student-Athlete of the year based on my academic and athletic achievements. I have a passion for valuation, modeling and due diligence. Excel and PowerPoint are the tools I am best at.
