ABOUT NICOLA CATTON

I\'m an experienced and highly respected leader with nearly 20 years practical experience in Digital and Operational delivery and Process Optimisation, particularly within the media & publishing industry. I have a strong background in Hybrid Agile Project Management and specialise in Enterprise development and scaleable delivery. Extensive experience in setting up and running large, dispersed programmes and teams. Extremely skilled in driving organisational and cultural change, especially across large, international settings. I specialise in business process efficiency - mapping and streamlining operational processes to get the best out of your teams.I\'ve run large cross-functional teams, consisting of Project Managers, Product Managers, Product Design, Data Analysts and Data Engineers. For the last decade, I have been managing a Portfolio of work for 20+ websites based on WordPress VIP. This work ranges from large multi-year programmes to small day-to-day requests. I specialise in making sure the right work is done at the right time. Additionally, many of my team members acted as Account Managers for our internal brands, with me supporting with escalations, challenging communications and general relationship health.As well as being passionate about making jobs easier and optimising team output, I am extremely invested in advocating for mental health awareness and building a culture of psychological safety within my teams. I enjoy mentoring people of all levels, both within and outside of my discipline and industry.I graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Business Studies and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Systems Analysis and Design from City University in my spare time.
