I have the ability to work with a calm head under intense pressure to meet tight deadlines. My skills involve copy-writing, crisis management, social media and dealing with a high volume of reactive press enquiries from print, radio, TV and online journalists. I am a spokesperson for a national charity and manage pro-active internal and external publicity - through press releases, social media and radio/TV interviews. I manage fundraising publicity as well as devising and co-ordinating regional and national campaigns. I offer press advice, support and media training to employees and volunteers across the region. I have worked on a range of papers from weekly to daily in a variety of key roles which has given me vital journalistic skills and an acute understanding of the world of media.
