ABOUT NICOLA TASSONE

I started my sea experience as Deck Cadet on the offshore sector. I was involvend in anchor handling, towing and platform supply operations. My last contract as Deck Cadet was on board tanker ship involved in North and Mediterranean seas voyages. After i got my Deck Officer licence i moved back on the offshore and i continued the experience in: pipeline laying, heavy lift and offshore hook up of new fixed platforms, subsea constractions. AIR/SAT dive, ROV, survey and Dynamic Position operations. After some years at sea i had the opportunity to work as Production Supervisor at Fincantieri to see the ship production process, from the first cut steel to finaly delivery to the customers. I\'m currently employed at outside engine room outfitting department follow marine and safety systems, piping installation and i\'m 1st Deck Officer on board new cruise shipbuilding during sea trials and dry dock operations. I check technical documentations, conduct inspections at yard facilities and follow building phases respecting Quality Control standards, HSE procedures and RO regulations, i partecipate to factory acceptance test (FAT). Master license on ships of GT or more Master license on motor and sailing yachts between 500 and GT. I am motivated by working in a dynamic and challenging enviroment, where i can contribute to the success of the company and the satisfaction of the customers.
