In a career spanning more than 30 years, Major Carrera has served as Commander of territorial Units across Italy and has gained extensive experience at both operational and tactical levels of international police operations. Major Carrera’s international duties include deployments in all the continent: Africa, Europe, Balkans, Middle East, Asia starting from 2010 and never stopped. Togo, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Egypt, Lebanon, Kuwait, Kosovo, Indonesia, Germany, Romania, United Kingdom are a part of countries where I served under the flag of the United Nations, European Union, NATO as well as the bilateral agreements. The sectors of intervention across all countries mentioned above covered international cooperation, capacity building and training tasks and activities. CoESPU has been one of the most important and pivotal entity under which the cooperation with international partners has been enlarged as weel as in any other Carabinieri Unit/Department, in fact Major Carrera always pushed external relations and dialogs – in english and french language – deeply believing that any solution to the handling different issues come from the effective cooperation, direct and trustable comminucation and constant interaction amongst the parties. My home: the earth!
