I am a senior at the University of Illinois Chicago majoring in accounting and minoring finance. Through UIC’s Business Scholars program along with the Accounting Club and the ALPFA Club, I have enhanced my communication and networking skills. Working as an accounting aide for the LARES office at UIC allowed me to learn the accounting basics such as invoices, expenses, reconciliation, and Excel. I am excited to keep expanding my knowledge and putting these skills to use in my next internship.
