About Nico Clarke

Hello, I’m Nico - an aspiring architect and researcher, focused on creating environments that promote mental wellness, inclusivity, and sustainability. My approach combines neuroarchitecture, computational design, and human-centered thinking.My career began with an internship at the Johns Hopkins Stanley Neurovirology Laboratory, where I studied human behavior and later applied those insights in my Master’s thesis. At Howard University, I gained diverse experience across the profession, working with both AEC firms and Fortune 500 companies, earning my B.Arch and M.Arch. I then contributed to large-scale projects at Moody Nolan, spanning healthcare, higher education, public housing, and civic typologies.Today, I’m dedicated to rethinking how we design spaces, researching the link between mental health and architecture, and pursuing NCARB licensure. I’m passionate about creating spaces that enhance well-being, mentoring, and leaving a positive, lasting impact on communities.
