About Nico Bers
I am third year Physics major and Machine Learning and Data Science minor at Northwestern University. I am interested in studying black holes and neutron stars through gravitational-wave astrophysics and the supermassive black hole at our galactic center with radio observations. I currently am researching hot ionized and cold molecular gas correlations near Sagittarius A*. I have also researched the farthest black hole mergers in the universe and isolated neutron stars using LIGO.I enjoy working in mentoring positions, currently as a Teaching Assistant leading introductory electricity and magnetism physics labs and previously as a peer mentor for a data structures and algorithms computer science course.
