About Nicky Fookes

I have had many different experiences in my life and I’ve learned so many invaluable lessons along the way. I have experience in just about every field from Make-up Artist & Photography Stylist to Executive & Personal Assistant, Cocktail Server, to prepping Trucks for Bedliner application & Cabinet Instal & Finishing I’ve had my own Housekeeping Business and even interviewed local Bands and wrote a few articles for the Village Voice in NY & Rolling Stone Magazine. I’ve done many different jobs over the years and I’ve done them all with pride and a need to be the best at whatever I do. But, by far, I take the most pride in my favorite job of being a mother. I raised 3 beautiful, kind hearted and hilarious young women. Without a doubt they make this world a much lovelier place to live.(you’re welcome world! I don’t know what the future will bring, but I do know that whatever challenge and opportunity I face, I will meet it with a passion to learn, need for perfection and a desire to be the best person that I can be. And no matter what it is that I do, I will always be happy for having the opportunity to grow and meet new people. If I’m not able to laugh and smile with others and enjoy what is around me, then I just don’t see the point and I’ll keep it moving until I find a new door to open and walk on through.
