I have joined the firm\'s Construction team for my final seat as a trainee solicitor, working on both contentious and transactional matters.I was a member of Ward Hadaway\'s planning team for my third seat, working on various planning agreements and variations, together with assisting on enforcement matters and advising on discreet points of planning law.I have also gained exposure to major projects and development consent orders, building upon my previous experience in planning law.In my second seat as a Trainee Solicitor, I sat within the firm\'s Housing department dedicated to bringing housing developments and working with the various stakeholders involved.I gained experienced working with options and conditional sale agreements, advising clients pre-site acquisition on points of property law to consider, together with drafting and preparing additional deeds and documents as required. In my first seat as a Trainee Solicitor, I worked in the Corporate department alongside specialist M&A an Investment lawyers. I assisted team members with tasks such as legal research, drafting documents for filing with Companies House, and reviewing share purchase agreements. I have had exposure to mergers and acquisitions transactions, including management buyouts and conversion to employee ownership trusts, issues around corporate governance and compliance, gaining valuable experience in corporate law.I also further-developed my experiencing of liaising with clients and attending meetings, helping to deliver high-quality legal services.
