About Nick Smith

With over 15 years of experience in nuclear engineering and energy systems, I currently serve as the Founder and CEO of Raven-Flint Nuclear Corporation. My work focuses on advancing uranium conversion technology, including the development of the Torch pilot plant to produce uranium hexafluoride by 2028. I drive strategic initiatives to achieve operational readiness for a 500 tons-U/year production capacity, enabling innovation in front-end fuel cycle services to support advanced nuclear reactors. Prior to founding Raven-Flint, I held leadership roles at Radiant and Idaho National Laboratory, where I directed high-impact projects such as the Molten Chloride Reactor Experiment (MCRE). These roles honed my expertise in electrical engineering, regulatory compliance, and project management. I remain committed to advancing safe and sustainable nuclear technologies that address global energy needs effectively.
