ABOUT NIKOLAY STOYANOV
Mechanical Engineer with a growing expertise in contributing to and managing the delivery of mechanical equipment for the Civil Nuclear industry.Previous experience in designing, developing, qualifying, and sustaining subsea electrical connectors to industry-leading Oil and Gas standards.Through tapping into parts for CNC machining, injection moulding and electrical testing, I’ve combined 4+ years of experience of Creo components, working knowledge of Ansys Fluent & Mechanical. I have experience in utilising imported data from plastic injection and compression moulding, mechanical and electro-mechanical simulations to produce reduced shrinkage & an improved array of high voltage parts.My interests are in HPHT technology, manufacturing, computational methods, and material science in mission-critical applications.Previous projects that I have worked on outside the energy industry include an Adaptive Surgical Robot ML model for identifying skin lesions, an IoT Gardening Assistant, and a new monitoring method for a better understanding of structural integrity.
