ABOUT NIKOLAS THEODORE STAGKOS

I am an RIBA Chartered Architect & RICS certified Construction Project Manager, nearing 10 years of experience in the London construction market. With extensive experience in leading large scale post-mobilisation projects as project architect, across hospitality, residential and public sector projects, I am equipped with the necessary skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams throughout pre- and post-mobilisation stages. I transitioned in to design management shifting my focus on the delivery of major projects within private sector and commercial aspiring to acquire a broader, more critical role in project delivery. In following a detailed-oriented approach, I place collaboration at the core of the design management function. I am driven by bringing together large number of diverse disciplines, all thriving to achieve the best possible standard. Further interests include the pursue of sustainable practices, seeking efficiencies via BIM coordination, and student mentoring. Key Achievements:In June 2022 I became a certified Construction Project Manager upon completion of the RICS Certificate in Construction Project Management, scoring 96% in final examination.Active member of the RIBA student mentoring scheme.Battersea Power Station Development Phase 3A – Hotel: Achieved a fast-tracked career progression during the duration of the scheme, moving from architectural assistant and BIM coordinator to Project Architect within 6 months of joining the project team. I’ve led a multi-disciplinary team from RIBA stage 4 through the end of stage 5, managing deliverables and heavy workload in a financially as well as politically constrained environment, whilst gaining the client’s trust. Per client request, during the last year of the project I became a resident site consultant to ensure high quality works are carried out.Construction of Refugee Sites (plus associated utilities & facilities) in Greece: designed and delivered modular accommodation facilities refugees at an accelerated pace, during the peak of the 2016 migrant wave in northern Greece for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees & Danish Refugee Council. Worked within a multi-disciplinary team at a masterplan level, developing building programmes, surveying existing site structures, producing technical standard and tender documentation.
