WORK HISTORY
Founder @Pelican Post
Founder of literacy charity which supports literacy initiatives in Africa that focus on the importance of children\'s fiction in developing a child\'s aspirations and sense of self net worth. Working with partnering publishers, the charity supplies class sets of brand new appropriate children\'s fiction to partnering schools so that teachers can practice shared classroom reading. A key epithet of the charity is to support programmes that enable children to discover the numerous socio-economic benefits in terms of self confidence and belief derived from reading for pleasure as opposed to reading as a necessary skill requirement. The charity is supported by a network of leading publishing houses, media personalities and individual committed donors.
