As a Quality Assurance Consultant, my responsibilities consist of compiling objective evidence by conducting interviews, reviewing documentation, observing activities, performing audits, surveillance and investigations to determine whether organizations and/or individuals (management or non-management) are conducting business in accordance with regulations and established policies and procedures. As a Quality Assurance Consultant, I provide direction and recommendations for the resolution of matters of non-conformance through the development of corrective action plans, comprehensive fixes, and/or process changes. Also, my work as a Quality Assurance Consultant includes, but is not limited to:• Conducting scheduled and unscheduled surveillance of air carrier maintenance operations, sub-contractors, repair facilities, contract, and on-call maintenance, A/C parts suppliers and manufacturers for compliance with American Airlines Policies and Procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.• Evaluate Internal Maintenance Operations for the adequacy of facilities, equipment, procedures, and overall management to ensure safe, effective, and compliant operations.• Coordinate investigation and reporting of incidents of non-compliance and non-conformance.
