About Nick Merritt

Throughout my working life I always end up in an instructional role, no matter the positions I have held. Once I have learned a task, I can see ways to do it efficiently and help other team members do the same. This ability has drawn me into varying leadership roles over the past few years until finally I found myself in an instructional design position. This role has helped me develop my skills and increase my joy of helping others be better. With my career path leading me naturally towards instructional design, I wanted to improve myself and what I can offer team members with their learning experience. This has caused me to continue my education with a bachelors in Technical Communication from Utah State University. Having years of experience leading and training team members has really helped my education and now my education is helping improve my skills in the same areas.Going forward, my desire is to be the best at instructional design, continually learning and honing my skills, and developing processes to make team member instruction effective.
