About Nickol Mora
Throughout my 15 years in executive leadership, I’ve focused on creating meaningful spaces where people can bring their whole selves to learn, to lead, to dig deep, and to celebrate. In January 2024, I took those experiences and leveraged the intersecting points of strategy, project management, emotional intelligence, and creativity to launch Portón Events, a meeting and event management business focused on creating meaningful experiences immersed in purpose and belonging. As an equity-centered leader, its especially important to me to champion other women and BIPOC leaders, as I believe the event industry is no different in ensuring people of diverse identities, backgrounds, and experiences feel a sense of belonging in any room.
