About Nick Neitzel
I have been with the Wisconsin Athletic Club for over 15 years. I currently serve as the WorkingWell Manager and my duties include creating and fostering relationships with area businesses, schools and hospitals, seeking additional opportunities for the WAC to become more involved within the community, and constructing a network resource that will increase the value of the WAC Membership. I also design Fitness Centers or spaces for companies to promote movement to their employees. These services include facility layout and design, equipment sales and service, and recommendations for other fitness equipment and materials. Prior to joining the WAC, for five years I was the Fitness Coordinator with a local Fortune 500 Company, Quad Graphics. I was responsible for orienting new employees to the on-site fitness center, and coordinating the various leagues, lessons, and outings. I was also involved with wellness activities such as teaching smoking cessation classes, was the Physical Activities Coordinator for all of the pre-school children in the on-site daycare, coordination of “Healthy Weighs” (a nutritional class), organization of a bi-annual Wellness Fair with over 80 vendors, and served as the Personal Trainer for the CEO and many V.P.’s of the company. I was an avid volleyball player. I am the co-founder of the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh Men’s Volleyball Club Team. I have facilitated volleyball camps for ages 10 to adult. I also have competed in USAV Tournaments throughout the United States. I am a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and is a Certified Golf Conditioning Specialist. I have been a guest lecturer/demonstrator for various groups such as church groups, social groups, Special Olympics, Chambers of Commerce, The 2010 Wellness Summit, as well as a diverse group of nationally recognized businesses.Specialties: Some of Nick’s previous Lunch N Learn topics have included:•The Benefits of Corporate Wellness •Office Ergonomics: How to improve the layout of your workstation•Stress Management •Mom N’ Me •Train While You Travel •Volleyball Basics Camp•Over 50 & Fit: Exercise for Older Adults•Golf Conditioning Workshop•Core Training Workshop •Overcoming Barriers to Exercise•Exercise Adherence: How to get off the Exercise Rollercoaster•Stretch Training: Improving your flexibility
