As Senior Manager for Quantuma in Scotland, I oversee the Personal Insolvency team, managing a large and diverse portfolio of complex and contentious cases. My remit includes operational oversight of court-appointed sequestrations, Protected Trust Deeds and debtor application sequestrations, ensuring robust case strategy, regulatory compliance and high-quality delivery.I manage and develop a growing team, providing technical guidance, structured training and mentoring to support progression. Alongside personal insolvency work, I am leading the team’s transition into corporate insolvency, upskilling staff who have previously specialised solely in personal appointments.Key responsibilities include:• Operational leadership and management of the Scottish personal insolvency team, including oversight of a high-volume and litigation-sensitive case bank• Managing contentious and court-appointed sequestrations, PTDs and debtor applications• Training, developing and performance-managing team members, including building capability in corporate insolvency• Overseeing case allocation, workflow management and resource planning• Ensuring technical quality, regulatory compliance and commercial outcomes across all appointments• Supporting the Managing Director with performance, operational delivery and the development of the service lineIn this role, I combine technical expertise with people leadership to drive high standards, foster capability growth and support the continued expansion of Quantuma’s insolvency offering in Scotland.

As a JIEB-qualified insolvency professional and member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association, I currently lead the personal insolvency team in Glasgow for a major international firm.
