ABOUT NICK MARTINEZ
Nick (He, him, his) is an experienced leader, educator, producer, podcaster, activist, and social entrepreneur from New York with extensive experience working in museums and with non-profits. His work is at the intersections of museum education, youth and workforce development, community engagement, curation, and programming. His passion is to engage and support BIPOC to pursue careers in museums and science and develop strategies for the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion in traditionally non-inclusive spaces. He currently leads Education and Public Programming at the Museum of the City of New York as Vice President of Education and Engagement. He is a former Vice President of the Museum Association of New York, where he advocated for and supported museums across the state, and is an Adjunct Professor at St John\'s University, supporting the development of emerging Museum professionals. He was also the host of Giving Space Podcast.
