About Nickholas Rodriguez

I am currently working as a chaplain in the Greater Boston Area with Salmon Hospice and part-time at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston\'s Longwood Medical Area. Though I have years of clinical experience, I also know that my education and professional training will never be fully complete. In my work, I am maneuvering how to both grow as a spiritual care professional while also being a part of the systems and frameworks that continue to revolutionize the chaplaincy field and increase equitable access to spiritual care resources.I have recently completed my fourth and final unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. I also completed ACPE-accredited units at the JED Center for Spiritual Care and Education, at Sankofa Center for CPE and at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Sankofa Center for CPE. I am a graduate from Boston University School of Theology, where I specialized in chaplaincy. During my time as a student at BU, I held positions at the Office of Orientation, Marsh Chapel, and Residence Life. I was also the Treasurer of the School of Theology\'s Student Government.Throughout all of my studies, I have become deeply passionate about how spiritual care interventions can lead to increased human flourishing. I am also interested in how spirituality can foster antifragility in individuals and communities through their spiritual practices and traditions.
