At STEM Learning UK and the National Centre for Computing Education we have a goal to deliver world-leading Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths education for every young person across the UK.\\\\n\\\\nMy role is to increase engagement with organisations that employ technologists (in whatever form that may take) to help deliver that goal. The value to organisations of getting involved is large and immediate as we already have the infrastructure and expertise in place.\\\\n\\\\nFor example:\\\\n- every £ invested in supporting students and teachers delivers quantifiable social value\\\\n- increasing uptake and attainment rates in Computing Science (and other subjects that include digital skills) will increase the talent pool available for technology apprenticeships, intern positions, and other junior roles.\\\\n- our strategic focus around driving gender diversity and social mobility means that talent pool is on a positive trajectory to better reflect society and the communities you operate in\\\\n- we have an operational platform to mobilise any scale of employee volunteering to support schools, which will help increase your employee engagement scores\\\\n- we have excellent employee training materials available to support professional development\\\\n- we can facilitate access to thought leaders and open up new collaboration opportunities for you through our amazing network\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
