I’m a Construction Professional, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building and an active member of the CIOB Exeter Hub Committee.I’m also a Non Executive Director of Exeter Homes Trust Ltd, which manages a portfolio of almshouses across Exeter for local people in need.I’m a long standing MSP Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitionerand Better Business Case Practitioner. I’ve also undertaken leadership programmes at Cranfield University and at the Sandhurst Military Training Academy.My current work programme includes the build of a sqm Emergency Care Building for University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. Part of the government’s New Hospital Programme, this £250m scheme will deliver a new Emergency Department, a Same Day Emergency Care department, state of the art theatre suites, extensive imaging services and vital staff rest, welfare and training facilities. It is scheduled to complete in 28/29, and a further phase to refurbish the Paediatric Emergency Department will then follow.The Future Hospital Programme also includes the development of Community Diagnostic Centres in Plymouth city centre.
