ABOUT NICHOLAS DRESELLY THOMAS
I\'m always in search of great-> MC/VOG/Announcing/or Panel Moderating gigs -> roles with orgs whose mission inspires hope / dream making, or public diplomacy such as the Olympics (IOC)/ FIFA, Disney / Universal, Dreamworks / Pixar, or the National Park Service -> Acting roles or other film opportunities I\'m a true generalist with a penchant for human interaction and Sports Diplomacy. I’ve traveled and worked in more than 70 countries and all 50 U.S. states (incl 3x on Semester at Sea). Most excited when in a dynamically changing environment, I’ve found a particular knack for logistics, Diplomacy, real estate (both building and managing), as a Pilot, and most recently in the film industry. I was an early serial entrepreneur, and have covered everything from security for Magic Johnson, to working in a traveling airshow team, to personal assistant to Mrs. Coretta Scott King. I’ve run international adventure travel programs, consulted and spoken on the sharing economy and SDGs, spent 15yrs in the American political circus including embarking on a U.S. Congressional race in 2018, and worked as Director of Business Development for EarthX, the world\'s largest environmental experience. Most recently I starred as the Lead male “Flynn” in “Amazon Queen”, filmed in Manaus, Brazil in 2020, and Supporting Lead in \"an Egypt Affair\" due out April 2023. I have an MBA from the Hult International School of Business, a Masters in International Diplomacy from DU’s Josef Korbel School, and BAs in Political Science and Liberal Arts. I’m a 2015 Gabr Fellow, a Congressional Youth Ambassador to South Korea (’08), an OFA Fellow (‘08) and an Eagle Scout. I currently sit on the Boards of AFSC (American Friends Service Committee), AREI (American Renewable Energy Institute), and am the new Board President of the Estes Institute. I am also an honorary lifetime member of both Hosteling International (AYH) & NCUSCR (the National Committee on U.S. China Relations).
