I am a CIMA qualified, highly experience Finance Manager with extensive experience gained in the Energy sector. Expert in understanding the detail behind key business issues, I develop tangible narratives that inform superior decision making. I deliver consistent and accurate MI tailored to the audience that improves understanding of performance, articulates risks and highlights potential mitigations. I model robust forecasts that incorporate key assumptions and promote business leader ownership. I identify the root cause of complex problems to address ‘road-blocks’ and implement change management that drives cost saving and delivers a platform for profitable growth. Some of my stand out successes include: developing a more reliable forecast of gross margin, improving ability to predict seasonal cash flow; establishing new data processing function with appropriate accreditation in line with national industry timescales; and clearing excess customer debt, with systems and processes implemented to ensure a more stable operation.
