In my current role as the head of information security for Acadia Pharmaceuticals, I lead efforts to maintain the company’s information security by identifying, mitigating, and remediating areas of potential breach. By combining my technical acumen with my leadership abilities, I work with internal clients to craft creative solutions to address constantly advancing challenges. Some of the highlights of my career include the following:• Establishing a cross-functional data loss prevention team to create a framework to proactively review and remediate data loss.• Managing the seamless transition of 650 people from an open environment to a secure authentication model. • Leading multiple infrastructure projects, including data center migration, conversion of wide area network to Metro-E mesh network, and relocation of corporate headquarters to new site.Above all, I possess the unique combination of technical and soft skills that are necessary to thrive in today’s quickly changing environment.
