At 0800 Asbestos one of our key business drivers and USPs is to deliver a completed analysis report within 2 working days.It\'s only through our investment into bleeding edge technology, including tablet PCs, a dedicated software solution and cloud based servers, we are able to deliver on that promise.Our Asbestos Management software is specifically designed to bring together all the functions of an asbestos consultancy from initial enquiries, appointments and quotes through to asbestos report production, asbestos register generation and invoicing, into a single end-to-end solution.Each surveyor is equipped with the latest Windows based tablet PC, which directly accesses our cloud based systems. From the tablet they are able to retrieve the details of the job, take photos and create floor / building plans on the move.Once the plans have been drawn, the surveyor can then annotate the plans with sample locations, via the tablet and on-site.Plans are automatically transferred back to the office server once the work is complete and automatically inserted into reports where required. At the same time the samples collected by the surveyor are \"checked out\" to our external UKAS accredited labs. Once received by a lab, the samples are downloaded and \"checked in\" and the job updated.Once the sample analysis process is complete, our systems automatically collect the results, classifications and PDF bulk reports and upload those back into the cloud based servers.Producing accurate and valuable reports is key to any company, but efficiency and speed of production is also a vital consideration.The combination of efficient and validated data collection onsite, coupled with smart, process driven cloud based systems, gives 0800 Asbestos a clear advantage when producing the reports.
