   The Grand is an iconic 400-seat Art Deco auditorium on the National Historic Register. With in-house theater productions and diverse programming including film, live streaming, and music, as well as hosting other groups, The Grand features over 200 events a year. Members of the greater community experience Grand events times a year.As Executive Director, I am responsible for The Grand’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives, while overseeing daily operations including but not limited to Programming, Development, Marketing, Finances, Human Resources, Facility, and Public Relations.Administration: Collaborating closely with a seven-member staff, I ensure project development and management, communication, and collaboration across all program areas.Public Relations & Marketing: Collaborating with staff, I market and promote The Grand Theater and specific programs and special events including ensuring programs and special events are effectively promoted through email marketing, website, advertising, press releases, social media, marquee, and other means. This strategic approach raises the visibility of The Grand Theater as a vibrant artistic gem and an arts, economic and community anchor for Ellsworth and the region.
