I am an audit associate at KPMG LLP. and graduated with my Masters in Accounting Science in December 2023 from the Gies College of Business. I, also, have my Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance from the Gies college of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am completing my CPA journey and expect to obtain the certification as of June 2025.

   As a full time audit associate, I was tasked with working through a variety of business processes across six different clients over the past year and a half. These clients were all a part of the Consumer and Industrial practice, but all differed vastly in their overall risk assessment and substantive testing. My main objective on these engagements was to use judgement in assessing the risk for each process and therefore determining the extent and timing of our testing over the course of the fiscal year. I performed walkthroughs and communicated regularly with the client to best obtain an understanding of the processes and overall risk points that may impact our audit throughout the year.
