    The Vehicle System Engineer (VSE) will be responsible to Lead Integration of Chassis / Underhood Thermal and Powertrain Integration components and systems. The VSE is the single point contact for assigned content from the SMT to the platform. The VSE will approve changes/performance/content, will manage the VTS and will be overall responsible for vehicle level performance.Key responsibilities-Develops SMT imperative allocations in conjunction with PEM; SMT agent at contract signing-Supports relevant PITs/CITs activities including coordinating appropriate DRE/DE participation-Negotiate cross-SMT major issues, works with the team of other VSEs to resolve issues and elevates to PEM/VCE when unable to resolve-Reviews SSTS changes for the SMT and communicates conflicts to the PEM and VPM that require VTS re-balancing-Participates in VAPIR Integration meeting as key member on a regular basis; participates in PET, VPIT and VCIT as required-Supports the production launch process at the Validation Center and at assembly plants, develops plan for DREs coverage-Conducts weekly Integration meetings (SSR), leads communication of program objectives and deliverables to SMT Engineers-Works with PEM to evaluate product content sheets to assure accurate appraisal of proposed programs in workload and material model terms-Works closely with Studio to ensure that the vehicle Theme will allow performance requirements to be met-Communicates status and issues to management as required.
