About Nick Winnenberg
I’ve often been described as a golden retriever with less shedding. I’m an innovative and passionate business leader with a focus on data-driven storytelling, entrepreneurship, situational leadership, and individual employee development. I thrive in high-change, high-uncertainty environments and believe that change and innovation are the natural by-products of engaged teams and science-based management.I’ve been involved in staffing and recruiting informally since I was eight years old and formally since 2015, after graduating from Ohio University. I’m honored to serve as the developer representative for the Southern Ohio and Kentucky Developer Region (SOAK Zone). Express is the best franchise staffing firm in the country—and we look great doing it.Beyond staffing and recruiting, I’ve helped launch several ventures, both for-profit and non-profit. One of these was a podcast recording studio, OnBrand Podcasts, which I co-founded with my brother, Alex Winnenberg.I also serve on the leadership boards of the NEST Community Learning Center and the Little Miami River Chamber Alliance. While I’ve participated in other community committees, I scaled back after the birth of my son—my “why”—in 2021.I live by three simple rules: Be Good, Do Well, and Don’t Take Yourself Too Seriously. I love taking on big, challenging projects, learning as I go, and leading along the way.
