About Nick Westfall
Since being appointed CEO and president of VITAS Healthcare, the nation’s leading end-of-life care provider, I’ve had the honor to oversee the compassionate care of hospice across an organization dedicated to improving the quality of care brought to its patients. Through collaboration and a shared passion, I have led the expansion of VITAS’ programmatic and patient reach, increased the patient population and launched new programs and services, resulting in continued high standards of care and consistent financial growth since 2016.As the chief operations officer and director of IT and operations for VITAS, I built a deep enthusiasm for innovation and the technological tools that can push the organization forward. I plan to continue a tradition of advancement that will maintain VITAS as leaders in the hospice care industry and expand our ability to bring quality care to patients, improved service to referral sources and enhanced productivity for employees. I am honored to work and serve the more than VITAS employees across the country. We are proud to identify with VITAS Healthcare and the difference we make in the communities we serve.
