ABOUT NICK WALKER
Nick retired from the Royal Navy in January 2024 after a 36-year career as a Warfare Officer and Sea Harrier Pilot. His final appointment was as Commodore Fleet Air Arm and Head of the Fighting Arm, responsible for the operational aviation output of the Royal Navy alongside being a Senior Responsible Owner for seven aviation and people programmes, including complex programmes on the Government\'s Major Projects Portfolio. Nick remains involved with the Fleet Air Arm as Chairman of the FAA Federation. He is proud to be an Ambassador for the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC), a role in which he can offer something back and ensure its brilliant support to the serving and retired RN & RM community is continued and recognised. He also volunteers in his local community. A lifelong sailor, Nick and his wife have bought an ocean-going yacht allowing them to travel and explore with curiosity while experiencing a different lifestyle.
