ABOUT NICK VAUGHAN
As a Director at Vaughan Architecture Ltd it is my aim to continue to develop and enhance the needs and requirements of the public sector including education, health and social needs with the innovative and engaging private sector including procurement and funding vehicles to deliver very needed new facilities and services. Embracing this collaboration between public and private sectors is I believe fundamental to respond to the economic conditions we now face today. Whether that be through the bringing together of private sponsorship to a newly formed academy or free school to the development of a mixed use project involving private and social housing needs. Through my board level experience over the last 15 years this has allowed be create and high quality, nationally recognized projects such as the innovative Manchester Schools Framework which led to ground breaking methods to procurement and allowed the new schools at Green End Primary, St Agnes, Main Road and Old Moat to be created. My overall philosophy is based on partnering, trust and an understanding of what my client needs by means of engagement utilizing an innovative, design led approach to quality and delivery. Specialties: Learning environments including early years, primary, secondary, academy and further/high education sectors. Public sector engagement and consultation. Public and private living environments from urban mixed used schemes to social housing and student living. Working and commercial projects including industrial and high-tech service environments to high quality office and commercial schemes. BIM and whole single building model approach to all projects.
