A solution focussed Programme / Turnaround Consultant with a wide range of financial, strategic and operational business experience in both the Private and Public Sector, most recently in the NHS. A professional with extensive programme experience in managing strategic business change, senior stakeholder engagement, clinical transformation, inter-agency collaboration, commercial and organisational development, business turnaround, benefits realisation, risk management and business continuity. A pragmatic interim with a proven record of successful delivery of complex outcomes within agreed timescales.Principal Achievements• Developing, establishing and successfully delivering large QIPP/CIP Programmes for both Provider and Commissioning organisations in Turnaround to support their Financial Recovery Plans.• Working with Senior Clinicians, Directors, Operational Managers and Patient Groups to:o Develop a Clinical Case for Change for the proposed Surgical Reconfiguration across 3 Acute sites.o Programme manage and plan the merger of the Urology departments of two Acute Trustso Develop QIPP / CIP schemes based on Pathway redesign to increase effi• Developing, establishing and restructuring PMO’s, their documentation and processes to ensure robust governance and delivery of Programmes• Establishing an Integrated Improvement Plan across a £635m turnover multi-site Acute Foundation Trust in special measures, in collaboration with Monitor. This included Urgent and Planned Care, Governance, Culture, IM & T and Staffing.• Successfully Programme Managing the Monitor process to approve the merger of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Community Service Providers for Blackpool and North Lancashire, following an earlier failed application.• As a Non-Exec Director of a group of trading companies I was involved in the major strategic, operational and structural decisions which secured the Groups future.
