Nick Stuccio is a dynamic, transformative nonprofit executive with a history driving sustained growth on behalf of FringeArts, of which he is a founding member. As President of FringeArts, Nick has redefined Philadelphia’s performing arts scene, providing not merely a venue, but also an experience in which patrons engage with innovative performances. He is known for encouraging art and artists to flourish, navigating the complexities of nonprofit management, including development and fundraising, and demonstrating a commitment to the arts in the city of Philadelphia. His core areas of contribution lie in the following: Founded and established FringeArts, the premier venue for progressive performing arts in Philadelphia. Conceptualized and launched the annual Fringe Festival, which includes more than independent performances around the city each year, & : Secured more than $30M in private, institutional, and individual philanthropy since the inception of FringeArts. Acquired state funding of $500K via a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Raised more than $11M in capital funds between 2011 and 2022: Drives engagement and partnership among FringeArts, the artist community, and patrons. Offered development funds and production support to hundreds of Philadelphia-based artists. Implemented year-round programming to engage the community, including the Blue Heaven Comedy Festival, Hand to Hand Circus Festival, and late-night events: Traveled to more than 25 countries to import 50+ major international performing arts presentations. Created and produced Feastival, an annual fundraising event than nets $2M+,and is recognized as Philadelphia’s #1 chef and culinary event: Led the transformation of a historic pumping station into a multi-faceted arts center featuring theater space for 300 guests and optimized it for diverse staging—from immersive to in-the-round experiences & : Managed $11M in facility projects and cultivated relationships with restaurateurs to advance FringeArts’s mission. Developed a network of resources comprised of city, state government officials, business leaders, and non- and for-profit institution leaders.
