   Responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the entire QA program as described in the Quality Manual for the EMSL network. Conducts and/or establishes policies for QA audits. Implements standards for laboratory practices as well as conferring with the national directors, regional managers and/or the laboratory managers on QA policies to support the laboratory management and quality representatives in the daily maintenance of the QC program. Oversees laboratory accreditations, including initial applications, maintenance of proficiency testing programs and responses to non-conformities identified during on site audits. Develops statistical protocols for data reduction and acceptance criteria. Defines requirements for submitting QC samples, controls results reporting policies, sets standards for analytical performance, and issues protocols for yearly on-site audits for the branch laboratories. Participates in the annual management review and also ensures that the laboratory maintains compliance with all relevant quality standards. Provides corporate training for network of laboratories. Ensures compliance with various national and international standards (ISO 17025, AIHA, NVLAP, GMP, TNI, etc.)
