I have worked in the Parks and Recreation field since my first seasonal job as a Park Attendant in the summer of 2007. Since then, I have worked my way up in the profession and I am currently the Parks and Recreation Director for Newaygo County, Michigan. I have a passion for park administration, the outdoors and love developing, improving, and providing high-quality recreational opportunities and facilities for our Park Customers.I am an experienced Parks and Recreation Professional with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation: Parks and Leisure Services Administration, concentrating in Outdoor and Environmental Recreation, and a Minor in Natural Resources. I have 15+ years of Parks and Recreation experience at the Township, City, County, MetroPark, and Federal levels. Additionally, I have been a licensed Emergency Medical Technician and trained as a Leave No Trace Master Educator.
