ABOUT NICHOLAS RAPOSO
I am a labor and delivery nurse, educator, and PhD candidate dedicated to advancing perinatal quality and equity through nursing practice, teaching, and research. My current research explores multilevel determinants of the patient-reported birth experience, with an emphasis on intrapartum nursing caring and social determinants of health. Looking ahead, I aim to explore nursing-driven solutions to promote optimal, equitable birth experiences for all women and birthing persons. Above all, I am passionate about preparing future nurses to deliver person-centered, equity-minded care that promotes health for individuals and communities.
