About Nick Pisciottano
Nick is an elected official representing his hometown and 37 communities in Allegheny County as a member of the Pennsylvania Senate. He serves as the Minority Chair of the Senate Finance committee and as a member of the Labor & Industry, Consumer Protection & Professional Licensure, and Veterans Affairs & Emergency Preparedness committees.Prior to his election to the Senate, Nick served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2020 to 2024 where he served as Chair of the Allegheny County Delegation and a member of the Labor & Industry, Consumer Protection, Commerce, and Transportation committees.Before his public service career, Nick worked as a certified public accountant and auditor at KPMG where he managed a specialist internal audit data & analytics team focused on using technology to detect fraud, waste, and abuse at some of the largest companies in the world. His experience and education make him skilled at understanding complex topics and communicating solutions to a nonspecialized audience.Nick graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with degrees in Accounting and in History in 2012, earned his Certified Public Accountant license in 2014, and the Certified Information Systems Auditor designation in 2015. He earned a Master of Science in Data Analytics & Policy from Johns Hopkins University in 2019.
