Providing the resources and support required to enable field personnel to meet all Redpath, client and legislative requirements relating to health and safety in the workplace. Applying the health and safety at work act, and other legislation relevant to Redpaths activities including the company’s safety policy, standards and systems to all activitiesAdvising senior management and Redpath employees on matters relating to health and safety & environment.Taking part in pre-start activities at the beginning of each shift.Conducting workplace inspections and Redpath Safety Program audits at Redpath projects.Coordinating in injury and incident investigations including injury/incident analysis and project risk management workshops.Developing and reviewing Redpath & Subcontractor HSE documents including risk assessments.Conducting specific training in the field such as Train the Trainer and PLCL.Coordinating, leading, attending, participating in HSE meetings and supporting Redpath field Safety Supervisors as a resource.Developing and implementing Redpath HSE and standard operating procedures.Ensuring that safety alerts and incident notifications are distributed appropriately and in a timely manner.Monitoring the implementation of the Redpath HSE Management System applicable to site activities.Maintaining confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information.Using my own initiative, ensuring all health and safety requirements are met, working at a high standard to ensure work is completed to a professional level.Knowledge of permit to work systems. Adhering to all procedures, safe working practices and policies.Implementing and supporting effective working practices and systems as required to continuously improve work scope delivery. Exercising excellent interpersonal and team management skills to generate optimum performances.Decision making, implementing the required process resulting with the best outcome.

I currently work as a Health & Safety professional, qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate level, and working towards Diploma level to further my professional development.
