ABOUT NICK PANOU
Nick Panou is a Risk Services partner working in the PwC Toronto office. He is passionate about client service and seeks the opportunity to help his clients navigate risk, enhance their controls posture and foster transparency.Nick leads the Third Party Assurance group for PwC Canada, which encompasses the delivery of SOC1, SOC2, compliance and controls assurance reporting. He supports clients on whatever their third party reporting needs may be to address the needs of stakeholders ranging from users of services, governmental agencies and Board requirements. He is a current member of the AICPA Tech Committee, and a past member of the Canadian AASB 3416 Taskforce and the IAASB Emerging Forms of External Reporting. Nick is also the Risk Management Leader for the Risk Services group nationally, and supports teams and clients on solving their problems. Previously, Nick had joined the USA methodology group on a secondment and participated in the firm\'s development and approach on SOX 404 engagements. He has been a \'controls coach\' and has instructed partners and staff in the USA, Canada and Europe.
