   As part of the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program at Lamar University, I am working on an AI research project focused on automating traceability between source code and peer reviews using cutting-edge LLMs (Large Language Models). This project aims to reduce manual effort in code-review alignment by leveraging natural language processing and deep learning techniques to create intelligent mappings between code changes and corresponding review comments.Key contributions: • Conducting a literature review on LLMs for software traceability and code understanding. • Designing a pipeline to extract and preprocess code-review pairs from open-source repositories. • Fine-tuning transformer-based models (e.g, CodeBERT, GPT) to link code segments with relevant review comments. • Evaluating model performance using NLP metrics (e.g, BLEU, ROUGE) and real-world developer feedback.This research bridges software engineering and AI to enhance developer productivity and maintainability in collaborative coding environments.
