ABOUT NICK MASON
Nick is a Senior Project Manager and has 34 years mining and mineral processing project experience gained globally. He has a balanced experience set; his early career (15years) was spent working with Owner organizations before moving to an EPCM environment. He has delivered iron ore processing, alumina refining and base metals refining projects in Australia, the United States, Brazil and South Africa. He has substantial feasibility study development experience and had led green and brown field iron ore, alumina, nickel, uranium, potash and mineral sands mining and processing plant projects in Australia, Russia, India and Saudi Arabia. He has delivered JORC and 43-101 compliant reports and has led the successful issue of TEO feasibility reports to the Russian Government. Nick has authored key Hatch project management process guides for Project delivery from concept through to project execution. He has developed tools to support a unique structured approach to development of project execution strategies and execution plans for projects.Nick has a post graduate diploma in business which augments well his project execution experience. He is well versed in development of business cases as well as development and execution of project strategies designed to deliver required project objectives.
