Entered the recruitment industry in 1997 having started work in advertising sales in London after finishing university.Joined a specialist IT consultancy called Monarch Recruitment in Birmingham covering software development and project management. Developed the South East and London territory, driving the expansion of the region including recruiting, training and patch mapping before starting a new division for the business in IT sales and marketing (London/South East)In 2004 set up Penguin Recruitment specialising in the Sales/Marketing, IT, Engineering and Environmental sectors.Successfully expanded the business to 4 offices in Birmingham and Swansea before exiting the company after 20 years. Extensive experience in people management, writing/delivering bespoke training programs, business expansion through driving sales targets, client management and new patch identification
