ABOUT NICK KERSCHER

I’m a Senior Industrial Designer & Innovation Specialist with 8+ years turning ideas into tangible, future-focused products. I work at the intersection of physical design, strategy, and business innovation - from early concept to market-ready execution. Currently, I lead industrial design at happybrush, where I built our internal innovation lab from the ground up and shape product strategy, prototyping, testing, and the alignment of design with business and sustainability goals.Previously at agencies, I supported brands like Bosch, Siemens and Villeroy & Boch, leading portfolio strategies, design languages, and award-winning development (Red Dot, iF). I hold the IDEO U Business Innovation Certificate (“Designing Strategy”, “Designing a Business”), plus certifications in Design Thinking and AI × Creativity (incl. Brainbirds).I’m driven by curiosity and hands-on rigor - and I increasingly share what works as a speaker and workshop host (Concept-to-Gate, AI × Design Thinking, Evidence-driven decisions). My focus: building systems that connect user value, business logic, and technical feasibility - so teams move from insight to shippable hardware, faster and with confidence.
