I’m Nick Karavolos, a third-year Finance student at The Ohio State University’s Max M. Fisher College of Business and a member of the Dean’s Leadership Academy. I’m someone who welcomes new opportunities and is eager to continue gaining real-world experience as I grow in my career. Currently, I’m interning with AFFORD UK in London as a Finance & Accounting Intern, where I support financial reporting, grant compliance, and account reconciliation for internationally funded development projects. My work has included financial analysis and reporting for grant-funded initiatives, as well as contributing to internal audits, VAT reviews, and process improvements. I use QuickBooks and Excel regularly to help ensure transparency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals. I’m especially passionate about applying financial knowledge in meaningful ways that support both strategic goals and long-term impact.
