Took a leading role in developing EV technical strategy, proposing and assessing hardware/software (OCPP/CMPS) manufacturers, novel installation methods or associated technologies such as storage and generation. Conducted market analysis of novel technologies such as battery-integrated EV chargers for connection-constrained installations, and presented the research to the tender and business development teams- Leading updates on relevant regulatory updates (BS7671/IET CoP/PAS1899/RC59/Building regulations, etc.) and providing briefings to the commercial and delivery teams- Mitigated the likelihood of health and safety incidents via comprehensive, safety-focused, design output- Worked with the Transport Consulting team by producing feasibility reports assessing sites\' electrical capacity and on-site infrastructure for EV charging infrastructure, with futureproofing and phasing plans laid out. Our detail-oriented approach usually led to us obtaining the contract for the installation works- Advised clients on hardware and software solutions, ensuring they selected the right products to meet their needs- Carried out statistical analysis of energy data, and making recommendations on the suitability of the supply for EV charging, and whether a new connection would be required- Led a culture of continuous improvement for process and technology, continually iterating on the site survey form and pricing tool to improve quote accuracy and aiming to eliminate re-surveys- Reduced commercial and operational risk through robust design reviews and governance.
