Leadership of a multi-functional team of Crystallography, Developability, Solid State, Crystallisation and Physical Properties specialiststs accountable for applying a holistic Materials Science approach to select the optimum API solid form / particle and develop processes to robustly manufacture at scale. As a diverse team of subject matter experts and project leaders we apply fundamental science and Characterisation techniques to understand how the structure and properties of the API impacts the processing and performance of the drug product. Working with partners in Chemistry, Engineering, Formulation and Manufacturing we support the development of medicines for a range of indications and a variety of different routes of administration and manage a diverse portfolio of small molecule assets.
